USMS has received videos and pictures from one of our customers on Catalina Island, Ca. U.S.A. These pictures and video were taken during a recent storm. The docks and boats are anchored with Seaflex Elastic Rhodes and Helix anchors. As you can see in the video and the pictures, Seaflex and Helix can withstand most of what mother nature can throw, if the system is designed and installed correctly. During this storm, no damage was sustained to either the boats or docks anchored by the Seaflex/Helix System. Click here to watch the new Video and Pictures.

After a long wait, the Seaflex and Helix animation is finally here. You can watch as the Helix Anchor is installed and how little impact it has on the seafloor. This animation also illustrates how you can increase the number of usable moorings you have in your field while at the same time decreasing the impact you have on the ocean floor. “We are very excited about the ability to show you the benefits of this systems and how it works without having to get your feet wet” President Michael Rawlings. Soon to be added will be the Seaflex Bypass Animation as well as the Seafelx Mooring System and how it works in conjunction with floating docks. Keep checking the website for these updates.

As we grow, and are working more and more in the field, we run across instances where by some of these marinas will have different manufacturers of pump out systems. During the course of our work on an unrelated item, we often find that we are asked to investigate an issue with a piece of equipment that we don't normally work with. So in an effort to fulfill the needs of our ever growing customer base, we have come to an agreement with Keco Pumps. Our staff has been trained in the methods of installation, use and servicing of pump-out systems manufactured by Keco pumps. USMS has been contracted by Brunswick Latin American Group and U.S. Marine, the largest boat builder in the world, for the installation of a temporary marina in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. USMS will be mobilizing the required docks and mooring system all the way from the U.S. to be used as a temporary marina to moor the boats for the show. The show will feature all the latest in designs in small runabouts to the larger yachts found cruising all over the world. “We look forward to the opportunity to work with U.S. Marine in the creation of this innagural event, it will showcase our ability to design, implement and produce a sizeable Boat Show anywhere in the world” Michael Rawlings President of U.S. Mooring Systems, Inc.

Once again USMS was contracted by the Southern California Marina Association for the installation and removal of the temporary marina used by the show boats in Long Beach, October 2008. Seaflex and Helix anchors were used to moor the marina in place during the 4 day event. Seaflex and Helix were once again chosen because of their ease of installation and long successful track record.

U.S. Mooring Systems, Inc. has been chosen by the city of Long Beach to install the new mooring field in Long Beach, California.
- We look forward to working closely with the city and the mooring field operator to design and install a mooring field that is not only user friendly but environmentally friendly as well - U.S. Mooring Systems president Michael Rawlings.
