Project: Zephyr Cove Dock and Mooring Installation

Description of Project: In May of 2007 we installed a Seaflex/ Helix anchoring system for a new dock system. Seaflex and Helix was chosen because it was the only system that the local governing body would approve. No pilings can be installed without months or perhaps years of permitting complications.
In June of 2008 we installed the first phase of 70 moorings that will ultimately be installed in Zephyr Cove. Helix and Seaflex was used once again due to its ease of installation and the ease in which it is permitted. The helix anchors will provide holding power in excess of 15,000lbs and the 30” mooring balls will provide an excellent tie up point for transient boaters.
